"Dünyayuva (Worldnest) presents eight interwoven stories of women returning—physically or emotionally—to places they once left behind. Through these layered narratives, the stories bring together themes of womanhood, migration, family and motherhood, friendship, and reconciliation with the past. Familiar songs, cherished poems, longed-for islands, and cities left behind pass through the narratives, evoking memory and longing. The collection reflects a belief that any place in the world can become a safe nest where a woman can listen to herself and find the strength to recreate her life. Written with resilient hope, the stories explore a search for home, voice, and inner reconciliation, and aim to carry forward the belief that a woman has the whole world as her country."

*Echoing Virginia Woolf’s words: “As a woman I have no country. As a woman I want no country. As a woman, my country is the whole world.”
