London-based band Oslo Twins released their new single "Sally", a track that marks a fresh sound for the group. Produced by members Eric Davies and Claudia Vulliamy in their East London studio, the song features a deep bassline, bright synths, and a clean electronic style that shows the band’s growth as musicians.
Drawing inspiration from artists like This Mortal Coil, Everything But The Girl, and Ladytron, "Sally" explores feelings of longing and time passing. The lyrics reference Virginia Woolf’s Mrs Dalloway, focusing on a character named Sally—a figure from the past who represents youth, ambition, and lost connection.
Singer Claudia Vulliamy explains that the song reflects the quiet emotions that can surface during social events, much like Woolf’s character Clarissa Dalloway experiences while planning a party.
