Premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, Dalloway (2025) is a psychological thriller that quietly echoes Virginia Woolf’s legacy in a hauntingly modern setting. Directed by Yann Gozlan and based on Tatiana de Rosnay’s novel Les Fleurs de l’ombre, the film follows Clarissa, a writer who moves into a high-tech residence to work on her next book—about Virginia Woolf. There, every resident is assigned a personal artificial intelligence assistant. Clarissa’s AI, named Dalloway, becomes both a guide and a haunting presence.
